Mia Pictures

It is amazing how fast 3 months goes by. On Sunday, Mia will be 3 months. Wow! For those who don't get to see her much, I've posted a few pictures of what she looks like now. Enjoy!

Christmas 2008

This year was fun since we were able to celebrate as a family of four. FOUR...I still am getting use to saying that! Talmadge woke up to a tree full of presents. Well, all you have to do is put one present under our tree and it will overflow. I love our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. When we move into a house I'll have a hard time parting with that tree. It was given to us by Cameron's Grandma Sommers and we have had it since our first Christmas. It is getting time to get a bigger tree since a lot of our ornaments are way too big for the tree but I want to wait until we have a bigger space. So I guess each year when we buy our yearly Christmas ornament we will have to search for petite ornaments! It was fun to have Johnny and his family up for Christmas. Wish Shari and her family could make it but we understand they are saving as much as possible to bring a new little girl to their family. Hopefully this year will be the magically year to add that new angel! As a surprise, Cameron bought me a new kitchen table. It is beautiful! He always spoils me. I'm such a lucky person have have such a thoughtful husband! The best Christmas present that our family received was Mia. She is such a blessing to our family and brings so much joy. Now we have double the fun with Talmadge and Mia!

Talmadge's 3rd Birthday

This year was fun because Talmadge really got excited with his birthday and realized what was going on. We invited some friends over for an animal safari. Each child was able to pick out an animal mask but no one wanted to wear one except Talmadage and Grandma Sommers so we did the party without the mask. We did an animal hunt by having each child follow a set of animal tracks that led them to the animal. At the end I had a pair of human footprints that led to their goody bags. We then opened presents and had cake and ice cream. Talmadge's Aunt Shannon did an awesome job on the cake. I had an idea of what I wanted the cake to look like but Shannon helped me out. Thanks again, Shannon! The party was a blast. Talmadge got a lot of fun presents and loved playing with his friends. He just keeps getting funner and funner at each birthday. I can't wait for next year!

Halloween

Talmadge had a blast for Halloween. We went trick-or-treating at the county and city buildings the day before Halloween and then on the big day we went trick-or-treating around to the local businesses. It was so packed. I was really glad I only had one little person to look after. Talmadge really enjoyed going to 7-11 and getting a free slurpee. That was the first time he had a slurpee so it was a fun experience. Cameron had to work Halloween night so I ventured down to his work to show him Talmadge in his cute little outfit. By the time we got to his work he fell asleep and couldn't be aroused so we just took a picture of Cameron and Talmadge together. Talmadge had a fun Halloween. Especially since it was a 2 day event for him!
