Eating...YUCK!

For awhile, I was having a hard time trying to think of something to eat because nothing sounded good to me. I would get hunger pains and when I get those I don't have time to cook anything. One day I decided to treat Talmadge and me to a hamburger at the local fast food joint. While we were waiting I started taking pictures of Talmadge and thought they were pretty cute.

This face looks like how I feel a lot of times when I think about food.

We finally had a nice and semi-warm day a few weeks ago so we decided to go outside and blow bubbles with Talmadge. It was hilarious to watch Talmadge because he would blow so hard but no bubbles would come out. So he thought if he put the wand on his lips that would change the situation. Nope! So Cameron just blew bubbles while Talmadge chased them. Talmadge makes me laugh because he wants to be so big and do everything that we do. "Don't worry cutie, you will grow up fast enough."

The Mudrow Gang

This post is for my Mom since she doesn't get to see us all together very often. I met my brothers and Dad in Salt Lake to spend the afternoon with them. It was fun to be with them since we don't get to do much together. We went to Chuck-a-Rama. My Dad's fav since you can eat all you can stuff into your stomach in one sitting. You won't know it by looking at my Dad but he sure can pack it in. He has an incredible metabolism that I wasn't lucky enough to inherit. Dang! After dinner we were going to go to a movie but it was getting late and I needed to get Talmadge home before he started to get too tired to enjoy our visit. It was a blast to be with my brothers and Dad. We really need to get together more often!!

Announcement

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are EXPECTING!! The new bundle of joy is expected to arrive sometime around December 2nd. In Cameron's family, that is a busy time of the year so there is a chance that we might have the baby on some one's birthday unless it decides to come early, then we could have a Thanksgiving baby. We are really excited and can't wait! It will be really interesting to see how Talmadge shares his limelight. I think he will o.k. at first since he absolutely loves babies but once things settle he might have problems since he will start to realize the baby is here to stay and will be sharing the attention. Nevertheless, he will be a great big brother!!

Hogle Zoo

For my 30th birthday...yes I'm now officially 30, I just wanted to spend a day with my 2 favorite guys (Cameron & Talmdage). Since Cameron is gone so much with work and school it was a perfect gift. I decided that a day at the zoo would be so much fun. Talmadge just loves animals and had a blast! When we stopped for a minute to eat a bite for lunch, Talmadge just couldn't sit still. He wanted to keep looking at all the animals. He was so much fun! We kind-of built it up for him since we kept telling him that we were going to go to the zoo. So everyday before we went, Talmadge kept asking if we were going to go to the zoo. Talmadge loved it so much that for a few day after we went he kept telling us that he wanted to go back. In fact he told me the other day that he wants to go to the zoo with Jackson so will have to plan a day. What a fun birthday celebration!!

Kissing Cars

So, I've mentioned how Talmadge has a big imagination but this is hilarious. One night before we were going to put Talmadge to bed we went out to the living room to clean up his toys when I found his cars formed in a "T" shape. I asked him what his cars were doing and he told me, "kissing". How funny is that!!

Easter

Easter morning started out with an egg hunt. Talmadge had a blast finding all the eggs that were hid in our living room and in his bedroom. In fact he loved it so much that even up to today he still has me hide eggs so he can find them.
After he found all his eggs he opened them which mainly contained candy with a few that had coins inside. Once all the eggs were emptied we had him open up a few presents. Talmadge loves the movie "Cars" by Disney so we got him more cars to add to his collection. He also received bubbles and sidewalk chalk.
That afternoon we went to Cameron's Grandma Sommers' house and had another egg hunt and dinner. It was fun to see his family and catch up with every one's life. Talmadge especially liked running around with the bigger kids. He runs with them just like he is as big and as old as they are. These kids are about 5 years old but he doesn't care. He like to be with them and play just like them.

Hungry Animals

One day Talmadge was playing with his toy animals and he had a dental floss packet under each animal. When I asked him what his animals were doing he told me they were hungry so he was feeding them. He cracks me up. At that same time he was going through a phase where he wanted his animals to eat at the table with him. He would pretend that they were eating and drinking from his food and drink. What an imagination my little 2 year old has!!

Bowling

Earlier in March we went bowling with Cameron's brothers' and sister's family while they were in town. This was the first time Talmadge bowled and he absolutely loved it. He enjoyed the fact that he could push the bowling ball down the ramp and watch it roll down the alley in pursuit of a pin. After about 8 rounds he was starting to get tired and bored with the process so Cameron finished up his game. We all had a blast and loved watching Talmadge experience his first ever game of bowling.
